ForeFlight Mobile Clearance supports IFR operations that meet the following requirements:
- An IFR flight plan has been accepted by the FAA.
- The flight was filed through ForeFlight and ForeFlight Mobile is used to retrieve the clearance.
- The departure airport participates in Mobile Clearance Delivery.
If any requirement is not met, the flight is not eligible for ForeFlight Mobile Clearance.
Eligible operations
Eligible flights can use ForeFlight Mobile Clearance to:
- Request an IFR departure clearance.
- Receive amended clearances.
- Receive Contact Me messages.
