Graphical NOTAMs are divided by classification and type, and then displayed on the map with the following colors indicating their status:
Gray NOTAMs:
- Shown on the map two hours before the NOTAM is scheduled to become active.
- Displayed in gray at all times, regardless of status.
- Examples:
Yellow NOTAMs:
- Shown on the map two hours before the NOTAM is scheduled to become active.
- Displayed in yellow at all times.
- Examples:
Yellow to Red NOTAMs:
- Appear in yellow during the two-hour period before activation (scheduled status).
- Change to red when the NOTAM becomes active.
- Examples:
IMPORTANT
- A red NOTAM does not necessarily indicate restricted airspace.
- Always refer to the NOTAM's full text to evaluate its specific impact.
