The Time Out, Time Off, Time On, and Time In (OOOI) fields in a logbook entry can be populated in the following ways:

Method 1: Manual Entry

Enter the OOOI times directly into a logbook draft. To enter times in a logbook entry:

1. Go to More > Logbook.
2. Select a logbook entry.
3. Scroll to the START & END section.
4. Enter OOOI times.

Method 2: Entry from a Flight Plan

If OOOI times are recorded in a flight plan, they will automatically populate in a logbook draft when the flight is sent to the logbook.

To record times on a Flight:

1. Go to Flights.
2. Select a Flight.
3. Scroll to the FLIGHT LOG section.
4. Select Times.
5. Scroll to the TIME section.
6. Enter OOOI times.

To send a flight to logbook: 

1. Go to Flights.
2. Select a Flight.
3. Select the Send to button.
4. Select Logbook.

Method 3: Track Log Auto-Fill

When a track log is recorded, ForeFlight auto-fills the OOOI times in the logbook draft using track log data. The times recorded are based on the following criteria:

• • Out Time: The time of the first recorded data point, up to 30 minutes before liftoff.
  • Off Time: The time when takeoff exceeds 60 knots.
  • On Time: The time when landing is detected.
  • In Time: Approximately 15 minutes after landing detection.
