Use the following steps to troubleshoot the problem:

Check GPS Settings: Check that "Use as GPS" is on. To do so,
- Connect to the Stratus WiFi.
- Open ForeFlight Mobile and navigate to More > Devices > Stratus.
- Ensure the "Use as GPS" switch is set to On.

Troubleshoot Hardware/Installation: If "No Fix" persists while the aircraft is on the ramp with a clear sky view, a hardware or installation error may be the cause. The Avionics shop/installer should inspect the cable, plugs, and pins to ensure proper wiring per Appareo installation instructions.

Common Wiring Issue: Symptoms like this may result from an incorrectly wired cable, particularly if pins 6 & 7 are reversed between the ESG/ESGi and the Stratus 2S/S.
