There are several ways to select Direct To a waypoint within ForeFlight Mobile. Four techniques are:

• Press-Holding on the Map

• Tapping a Waypoint in the FPL Viewer

• Tapping an Arrow in the FPL NavLog

• Using Textual Shorthand to a Location

Press-Holding on the Map

To go Direct To a location by pressing and holding on the map:

1. Press and hold a finger on the map near the location to go to. A slideover will be revealed.
2. Select More next to the location or waypoint to go direct to.
3. Select Direct To. A route line will be drawn from the present position to the selected location.

Tapping a Waypoint in the FPL Viewer

To go Direct To a location from the FPL Viewer:

1. On the Maps page, select the FPL button in the top bar.
2. Ensure that a route is entered with the waypoint to go direct to.
3. Select the Edit or NavLog button in the FPL viewer.
4. Tap on a waypoint in the Editor or NavLog to go to. A popover or slideover will appear.
5. Select Direct To from the popover or slideover. A route line will be drawn from the present position to the selected location.

Tapping an Arrow in the FPL NavLog

To go Direct To a location from the FPL NavLog by tapping an arrow:

1. On the Maps page, select the FPL button in the top bar.
2. Ensure that a route is entered with the waypoint to go direct to.
3. Select the NavLog button in the FPL viewer.
4. Tap on the arrow pointing toward the waypoint to go to in the NavLog. A confirmation message will appear.
5. Select Direct [Location Identifier] from the confirmation dialogue. A route line will be drawn from the present position to the selected location.

Using Textual Shorthand to a Location

To go Direct To a location using textual shorthand:

1. On the Maps page, enter a "D" and a space before a waypoint identifier in the search box in the upper right.
2. Select Go on the keyboard.
