Draft entries are entries automatically created when a track log is recorded, a flight plan is filed, or another pilot shares a logbook entry. These drafts allow for review and approval before being added to the Logbook, helping ensure accuracy in flight records and easing entry.
To enable draft logbook entries:
1. Tap More > Logbook > Settings > Draft Entry Creation.
2. Enable draft entries for Track Log, Filed Flight Plan, or both.
NOTE: Draft entries are not enabled by default. If both settings are turned on and a flight plan is filed, followed by a track log, two draft entries will be created for the same flight.
To review and approve a draft entry:
- Tap the More button
- Tap Logbook.
- Select the draft entry to review.
- Make any necessary changes.
- Tap Approve. The entry will be added as a standard Logbook entry.
NOTE: Draft entries do not count toward currency or total time until approved.
