An airport can be an intermediate waypoint in an ICAO flight plan. To create a flight with an airport as a waypoint, follow these steps:
STEP 1: Go to the Maps page.
STEP 2: Tap the Flight Plan Editor (FPL) button.
STEP 3: Select the Edit button in the Flight Plan Editor.
STEP 4: Enter a route into the Route Editor field.
STEP 5: Select the Send To button (Square with an up arrow) once the plan is ready. The Flights page will open. ForeFlight will automatically format the correct routing into the Route field on the Flights page.
STEP 6: Select the Proceed to File button once the Flight has been reviewed and is ready to file.
STEP 7: Review the flight plan and select the File button.
NOTES:
1. If landing at an intermediate waypoint listed as an airport, two flight plans must be filed.
2. IFR flight plans in the Alaska FIR may not use airports as intermediate waypoints.
3. If filing a DC-SFRA flight plan inside the DC SFRA airspace, put "DCT" before or after the airport ICAO ID.
For example: KANP DCT KFME DCT KGAI
