Satellite imagery is updated every 30 minutes. However, due to download, processing, and dissemination times, the image age may vary:
- Images can be 15-30 minutes old at the moment of refresh.
- The imagery can become as old as 45-60 minutes before refreshing.
- An "Out of Date" message will be presented in the Layer Update Times popover when imagery is over 45 minutes old.
New satellite imagery displayed as 22 minutes old at the moment of refresh at 11:00.
Satellite imagery is 44 minutes old.
"Out of Date" message is presented when imagery is 45 minutes old and older.
New satellite imagery displayed as 27 minutes old at the moment of refresh at 11:30.
