Using a ForeFlight subscription on a new device requires the installation of ForeFlight Mobile and then signing into the app. To do so, follow these steps:
- Open the App Store on the new iPad or iPhone.
- Search for ForeFlight Mobile EFB.
- Download the app by tapping the Cloud icon.
- Once installed, open ForeFlight and allow the necessary permissions.
- Tap I Have an Account.

IMPORTANT: It is not recommended to use an iCloud backup to restore ForeFlight, as it can cause app issues. To avoid problems, always download ForeFlight directly from the App Store.
