Most iPads will use 10%-20% of the iPad's battery per hour. iPhone battery life will vary based on individual usage habits. To maximize battery run time on an iPad or iPhone, consider the following options:
- Close Background Apps – Close any apps not in use to reduce power consumption.
- Adjust Brightness – Lower the screen brightness to a comfortable but efficient level.
- Use Airplane Mode – Enable Airplane Mode while flying to disable cellular data, WiFi, and Bluetooth. Internal GPS remains active in Airplane Mode.
NOTE: If using Sentry, an external GPS receiver, or a Bluetooth headset, WiFi or Bluetooth must be enabled.
