How can a route be sent from the Maps view to the Flights view?

To send a route from the Maps view to the Flights view, do the following.

Go to the Maps page.
Select the FPL button to open the Flight Plan Viewer.
Enter a route if one has not already been entered.
Select the Send To button (square with an up arrow).
Select the Flights option.
