The Recommended Route feature is designed to provide as direct a path as possible while optimizing for prevailing wind conditions. An internet connection is required because recommended routing is not available offline.
Follow these steps to find and select a recommended route:
STEP 1. Open the Maps view.
STEP 2. Tap the Flight Plan (FPL) button.
STEP 3. Select Edit.
STEP 4. Enter departure and destination airports.
STEP 5. Tap Routes.
STEP 6. Select the Recommended route.
STEP 7. Tap Select Route to add it to the flight plan.
