For aircraft with non-symmetrical fuel consumption, a fuel moment table from the flight manual can be used to create a fuel moment table in a weight and balance profile. The table specifies fuel moments at various loads and must be copied from the flight manual during setup.
Steps to Add a Fuel Moment Table
To add a fuel moment table to a weight and balance profile, follow these steps:
1. Open ForeFlight Mobile.
2. Select the Weight & Balance view.
3. From the dropdown in the upper-left corner, tap Edit next to the Weight and Balance profile of interest.
4. Tap on the Fuel Tanks link.
5. Slide the switch on next to Variable Fuel Station.
6. Tap Add Fuel Moment to add rows in the table.
7. Input the flight manual's fuel weight and corresponding moment values.
Notes
- Ensure the fuel moment table's units of measure (e.g., lbs, in) match the values entered.
- It is recommended, though not required, that the fuel moment table be entered in order.
- If an aircraft utilizes a fuel schedule and a prebuilt template exists for the aircraft, fuel scheduling is respected. Fuel scheduling is not supported when creating a profile from a blank template.
