Yes. The aircraft FAA registration number must be included in Field 18 using the REG/ subfield when filing with a ForeFlight Call Sign and Privacy ICAO Address (PIA). The registration number is required for search and rescue purposes and for Controller Pilot Data Link Communications (CPDLC) login.
