For club, rental, partnership, or other shared aircraft, the ForeFlight Call Sign should be removed after the flight and the Flight ID reset to the aircraft registration number.
If the Flight ID is not reset, the next pilot may create a call sign mismatch. The FAA may report this as a potential violation of 14 CFR ยง 91.227(d)(8), and the ForeFlight Call Sign associated with the mismatch may be identified in the report.
