The Mode S transponder or Universal Access Transceiver (UAT) ADS-B Out system must support entry of a Flight ID that matches the ForeFlight Call Sign or aircraft registration number, as applicable.
When filing with a ForeFlight Call Sign, the same call sign must be entered as the Flight ID in the Mode S transponder or UAT ADS-B Out system. A ForeFlight Call Sign cannot be used if the installed equipment does not support or is not configured for Flight ID entry.
