Yes. A ForeFlight Call Sign can be used with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Privacy ICAO Address (PIA) program.
When using a ForeFlight Call Sign with PIA, both the call sign and aircraft registration number should also be registered with the FAA Limiting Aircraft Data Displayed (LADD) program. Because the call sign and aircraft registration number are provided to the FAA as part of the PIA process, the FFL call sign may be used only with the aircraft associated with that PIA registration.
LADD helps prevent participating flight-tracking providers from publicly displaying aircraft identification information, while PIA provides additional privacy for ADS-B transmissions.
When registering a ForeFlight Call Sign for use with PIA, the aircraft registration number must be entered on the ForeFlight Call Sign Registration Form. LADD registration should be completed before using the ForeFlight Call Sign with a PIA address because the FAA updates protected call signs and aircraft registration numbers periodically.
