Yes. Landing performance calculations are available if the Aircraft Flight Manual provides landing data related to surface conditions. Generally, these include actual distances for dry, wet, and contaminated runway surfaces.
ForeFlight's Landing Factor input field allows users to set a landing distance multiplier of 1.0 or greater. This multiplier adds a safety margin to ensure the aircraft can stop within a specified portion of the available landing distance.
The standard landing factor values include:
- 1.0 (Actual Landing Distance)
- 1.25 (80% Dry)
- 1.44 (80% Wet)
- 1.67 (60% Dry)
- 1.92 (60% Wet)
Custom landing factors can also be entered.
