In order for ForeFlight to display taxi diagrams automatically upon landing at an airport, each of the following requirements must be met:
1: You must have a Pro Plus or higher ForeFlight subscription to have access to geo-referenced taxi diagrams.
2: The airport must have a geo-referenced taxi diagram. For more information, see:
How can I tell if a plate or diagram has geo-referencing?
3: "Auto Show Taxi" must be enabled in the ForeFlight Mobile Settings by tapping More > Settings. Scroll to the TAXI DIAGRAM section of the Settings menu, and set the Auto Show Taxi toggle switch to on.
4: During the approach to landing, a certain flight profile must be flown in order for ForeFlight to detect that a landing is in progress. Specifically:
- The approach GPS groundspeed must be greater than 60 knots for a minimum of 15 seconds prior to landing.
- The aircraft must then decelerate to a GPS groundspeed of fewer than 40 knots upon landing, within the runway environment, and near the airport altitude.
