Without a weather source connected, in-flight weather access is limited to the last items viewed on the ground. It is recommended that the Pack feature be used to download available weather before departure.
Pre-Flight Preparation with Pack
To access weather data for use in flight, use the Pack feature before departure. Pack downloads the following weather items:

Basic Weather Data (all plans):
- METARs
- TAFs
- AIR/SIGMETs

Advanced Forecast Layers (available with Pro Plus, Performance Plus, or Business Performance plans):
- Icing forecasts
- Turbulence forecasts
- Surface Analysis layers
Radar maps, Satellite maps, and Imagery are not downloadable and will not be available in flight.
IMPORTANT: Weather downloaded via Pack is only for that moment and does not update.
