Wi-Fi-connected devices, such as Sentry or simulators, may not appear on the Devices page in ForeFlight Mobile if access to the Local Network is not enabled in the iOS settings. This permission is necessary for ForeFlight to detect and communicate with the devices.
To enable this setting, follow these steps:
STEP 1. Open the iPad Settings App.
STEP 2. Scroll down and select Apps.
STEP 3. Select ForeFlight from the list of apps.
STEP 4. Ensure the switch next to Local Network is turned on.
Once Local Network access is granted, the Wi-Fi-connected device or simulator will be visible in ForeFlight Mobile under More > Devices.
