To receive text message (SMS) updates for filed flight plans, enter a cell phone number on the File page by doing the following:

1. Open the Flights page.
2. Select a flight.
3. Select Proceed to File.
4. Scroll to the Phone line.
5. Enter the cell phone number.

SMS updates and in-app notifications will be sent for:

• Expect departure clearance time (EDCT)
• ATC rejections
• Flight delays
• Slot allocations
• Overdue VFR flight plan reminders.

Entering a Phone Number

Phone numbers are entered in the "Phone" field on the File page. The phone number should be formatted as follows:

• U.S. Phone Numbers: Enter the phone number as [area code][phone number] 
  • For example, (555) 555-5555 should be entered as 5555555555.
• Non-U.S. Phone Numbers: Enter the phone number as +[country code][number]
  • For example, +44 5555 55 5555 should be entered as +445555555555.
