There are several methods for adding a waypoint to a route in ForeFlight on the Web. Below are the most common ways:
1. Search Box. Use the search box in the upper-right corner to find a waypoint. Once located, hover over the description and click the purple Add to Route button.
Example: Search for a waypoint identifier and tap the purple Add to Route button. In this case, FCS was added to the KCOS to KGUC route.
2. Direct Entry. Waypoints can be manually typed directly into the Flight Plan editor.
Example: Insert the cursor into the FPL editor and type the waypoint to add it to the route. In this case, FCS was added to the KCOS to KGUC route.
3. Right-click Map. Right-click on the map near the desired location, then select the waypoint from the pop-up menu.
Example: Right-click near the waypoint on the map to add a waypoint from the pop-up options. In this case, KGUC was added to the KCOS to FCS route.
4. Route Dragging. Click on the route and drag it to the desired location. When released, a pop-up will provide options to add a lat/long value, nearby waypoint, NavAid, or airport ID.
Example: Click and drag the route line on the map near the waypoint to add a waypoint from the pop-up options. In this case, FCS was added to the KCOS to KGUC route.
