Yes, the Apple Pencil does work with ForeFlight Mobile. When using an Apple Pencil, turning Auto Apple Pencil Drawing on is recommended to draw annotations on the Maps, Documents, and Plates views when touching the screen with an Apple Pencil. This setting is found within ForeFlight under More > Settings (in the Annotations section).
Double-tapping with a finger towards the tip on the flat edge of the Apple 2 Pencil will switch between whatever mode is set in the Settings app under Apple Pencil > Double Tap.
