LogTen has several versions of their software. This article covers importation of a LogTen Pro X logbook from an iPad or iPhone. There are 3 basic steps to the process:
1. Syncing your LogTen Pro X.
2. Exporting your logbook.
3. Importing to ForeFlight Logbook.

Follow these steps to get started:
STEP 1: SYNC ALL INSTANCES OF LOGTEN PRO X
- Ensure that all devices are on the same WiFi network.
- Open the LogTen Pro X sync screen.
- Tap Settings > Sync > Sync Using WiFi.
- Select other iOS device.
- Tap Sync Now.
- Repeat for other devices.
- Continue to either Step 2A or 2B below.
STEP 2A: EXPORT LOGBOOK: FOR EXPERIENCED SPREADSHEET USERS (Best results)
1. Navigate to Reports > Exporters.
2. Select Dynamic Export Flights (Tab).
5. Tap Generate at top-right.
4. Verify Entry Type, Filter Group, and Date Range are equal to "ALL."
5. Tap Generate.
6. Email the file to yourself.
7. Select Export Aircraft.
8. Verify Entry Type, Filter Group, and Date Range are equal to "ALL."
9. Tap Generate.
10. Email the file to yourself.
11. Continue to Step 3 below.
STEP 2B: EXPORT YOUR LOGBOOK: FOR INEXPERIENCED SPREADSHEET USERS (Won't import custom fields and gear type)
1. Navigate to Reports > Exporters.
2. Select Export Flights (Tab).
3. Tap Generate at top-right.
4. Verify Entry Type, Filter Group, and Date Range are equal to "ALL."
5. Tap Generate.
6. Email the file to yourself.
7. Select Export Aircraft.
8. Tap Generate at the top-right.
9. Verify Entry Type, Filter Group, and Date Range are equal to "ALL."
10. Tap Generate.
11. Email the file to yourself.
12. Continue to Step 3 below.
STEP 3. IMPORTING INTO FOREFLIGHT LOGBOOK.

1. Open both your logbook files and the ForeFlight Logbook template in Excel or another spreadsheet program.
2. Copy each column of data to its respective place in ForeFlight’s import template.
3. Rename any custom field headers as [FieldType]Field Name. Reference formatting notes at the bottom of this article
