How much cellular data does ForeFlight use?

Estimating cellular data usage in ForeFlight is challenging due to various factors influencing data consumption. However, Apple provides a way to track cellular data usage per app. To check ForeFlight’s cellular data usage, follow these steps:

STEP 1. Open the device’s Settings app.

STEP 2. Tap on Cellular.

STEP 3. In the Cellular Data section, select Show All.

STEP 4. Locate ForeFlight to view its usage.

To avoid cellular data overage charges, disallow ForeFlight access to data via cellular. To do so, turn the switch next to ForeFlight off. This action will prevent ForeFlight from using cellular data for downloads and other items that require an internet connection.
