Sync is a cloud-based feature that keeps ForeFlight data up-to-date across all devices signed into an account. Items such as Recent and Favorite Airports, Routes, Weather Imagery, User Waypoints, Aircraft Profiles, Documents, and Flights are automatically synchronized. When changes are made on one device, they’re automatically updated on any other connected device, as long as it’s connected to the internet.
IMPORTANT: Sync is turned off by default for Military Flight Bag subscriptions and multi-pilot accounts that share a single login.
For example, if a flight is created or modified in the Flights view on an iPhone, those updates will immediately be reflected on an iPad signed into the same account if both devices are connected to the internet. This syncing ensures that data is consistent and available wherever it’s needed.
To enable Sync in ForeFlight Mobile, go to More > Settings and turn the switch on next to Sync Data To/From Device.
