ForeFlight Mobile can be updated either automatically or manually, depending on device settings.
Automatic Updates
To enable automatic app updates:
STEP 1. Open the device's Settings app.
STEP 2: Tap Apps
STEP 3: Tap App Store.
STEP 4: Enable App Updates by turning the switch on next to App Updates.
Manual Updates
Before checking for an update, ensure the latest version of iOS is installed. For instructions, see Update the device's iOS. Once the iOS is up to date, follow these steps:
STEP 1. Open the App Store app on the device.
STEP 2. Tap on the Account icon in the upper-right corner.
STEP 3. Tap on App Updates.
STEP 4. Swipe down on the App Updates view to refresh the page.
STEP 5. Scroll down to see available app updates. If an update for ForeFlight Mobile is listed, it can be installed from this view.
