Track logs may not be seen if they are not recorded automatically or if syncing is not enabled to share the recording to other devices on your account.
For a Track Log to record automatically, the following conditions must be met:
- Have a valid GPS source. iPhones and cellular-capable iPads have built-in GPS chips. If using a WiFi-only iPad, an external GPS receiver will be needed.
- Have Automatic Start and Stop Enabled. Open ForeFlight Mobile and go to More > Settings. Verify Enable Auto Start/Stop is turned on.
- Have ForeFlight showing before and during takeoff. Ensure ForeFlight Mobile is open and running in the foreground before takeoff. The Track Log will not automatically record if ForeFlight is not open and displayed during the takeoff phase.
To ensure that a recorded track log can be viewed on other devices or using ForeFlight on the Web, open ForeFlight Mobile and select More > Settings. Verify that Sync Data To/From Device is enabled at the bottom of the view. Turning the setting on will allow the track log recording to be synced to other devices on the account.
