How do I sign the Weight & Balance Load Summary?

ForeFlight Mobile version 14.2 adds new features to Weight & Balance. The new features (referred to as Enhanced Weight & Balance) include a load summary with signature and date fields. For individual accounts, Enhanced Weight & Balance is enabled in More > Accounts > ForeFlight Labs. Enhanced Weight & Balance is enabled for multi-pilot accounts by default.

Viewing the Load Summary

Tap Summary in the Weight & Balance view's upper toolbar. The Load Summary is depicted in a pop-up preview window.

Signing the Load Summary

It's not possible to sign the load summary from the preview pop-up window. To digitally sign the load summary, either:

Markup

The share menu includes an option to use Markup to sign and date the load summary. Markup is an iOS built-in PDF editor. If you sign and date the load summary with Markup, you are using the iOS built-in PDF editor and not ForeFlight.

After signing the load summary with Markup, it is not possible to send the load summary directly back to ForeFlight. Load summaries signed with Markup can be sent to third-party apps for saving and then imported back to ForeFlight if desired.
