Why does my Passenger app say "Not connected to Pilot?"

If you open your Passenger app and see a message that says "Not connected to Pilot, then you need to update your local network setting.

To update your local network setting, open the iPad's SETTINGS APP, and tap on PASSENGER in the left column. Then, turn the switch ON next to LOCAL NETWORK.

Image 2. Open the iPad Settings App and go to Passenger and turn the switch ON next to Local Network.

On the Pilot iPad that is running ForeFlight, you may also need to enable access to the local network for ForeFlight. To do so, open the iPad SETTINGS APP on the iPad running ForeFlight and select FOREFLIGHT from the right column. Turn the switch ON next to LOCAL NETWORK.
