Airport Information

After entering a Departure, Destination, or Alternate Airport, click an "Info" button to open a new browser tab with detailed information about the airport.

1. Overview

The Airports view displays airport information, airport thumbnail, taxi diagrams, Runways, service provider details, NOTAMs, and terminal area weather for over 20,000 airports worldwide.

2. General Information

Airport General information is displayed in the top half of the airport view. Refer to elements such as field elevation and pattern altitude, operation hours, customs availability, manager, and owner information.

3. NOTAMs

View all the NOTAMs that have been issued for the airport. Dispatch divides NOTAMs according to their type, with sub-tabs for Airport, Obstacles, TFR, and ARTCC NOTAMs.

4. Runways

View Runway data including Runway direction, surface, length, width, weight-bearing capacity, lighting, and elevation (Touchdown).

5. Weather

The current Flight Category and summary of weather (METAR) are displayed along with detailed weather data for the selected airport, including METAR, TAFs, and where available Digital ATIS (D-ATIS).

6. FBOs

View a list of Fixed Based Operators providing services at an airport. FBO details displayed include  fuel prices, fuel availability, contact numbers and frequencies, and additional services available.

7. Procedures

Terminal procedures include Airport Diagrams, Standard Terminal Arrival Routes (STARs), Departure Procedures (DPs), Approach Plates. Click an available procedure to open a PDF in a new tab.

8. Frequencies

Airport Frequencies are broken-down in Approach, Departure, Ground, Tower, Weather Advisory, and Clearance.

9. Remarks

Airport remarks are limited to items of information that are determined essential for operational use, i.e., concerning aeronautical facilities, service, maintenance available, procedures or hazards, knowledge of which is essential for the safe and efficient operation of aircraft.
