It is normal to see the notation "No Internet Connection" in the iPad or iPhone Settings app under Wi-Fi when connected to a Sentry. This is because the Sentry does not connect to the Internet. Instead, it will receive the ADS-B broadcast data from ADS-B towers when in range.
If connected to the Sentry, as seen in the image above, then the Sentry will communicate with ForeFlight Mobile. To verify this:
- Open ForeFlight Mobile.
- Go to the More page.
- Select Devices. The Sentry will be listed as a connected device if it is communicating with ForeFlight Mobile.
