Data logging can help our Pilot Support Team troubleshoot issues with connected devices, such as Sentry, Stratus, Garmin, FreeFlight, SXAR1, or L-3 Lynx. If problems are encountered with certain data types, enable logging for the device by following these steps:
STEP 1: Connect the external device to the iPad or iPhone.
STEP 2: Open ForeFlight Mobile.
STEP 3: Go to the More page.
STEP 4: Select Devices.
STEP 5: Tap on the device tile.
STEP 6: Slide the Logging switch to on (slide to the right).
IMPORTANT: Log files can grow at a rate of approximately 100 MB per hour. Turn the switch off after troubleshooting is complete.
