A Pre-Departure Clearance (PDC) might not be received for the following reasons:
- Amended or Revised Flight Plan: If the filed flight plan was amended or revised, a PDC may not be issued.
- Flight Not Cleared as Filed: If the flight plan clearance differs significantly from the filed route, a PDC may not be sent.
- Duplicate PDC Requests: If the aircraft received a PDC for the same airport within the past 18 hours, another PDC will not be issued. An aircraft is limited to one PDC per airport per 18-hour period.
