Why doesn't my airport show on the Aeronautical Map layer?

The Aeronautical Map layer shows the following types of airports:

-Civil Airports (With and without towers or services)

-Military Airports (With and without towers)

-Private Airports (With and without towers)

-Seaplane Bases (With and without towers or services)

Not all airports are included in official sources of aeronautical data that we utilize. In order for an airport to be included on the Aeronautical Map, the airport data should be submitted to and a part of the Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP), which is defined by the International Civil Aviation Organization as a publication issued by or with the authority of a governing body, such as a nation-state.  This publication contains aeronautical information known to have a high quality of reliability, which is essential to air navigation.
