To connect an Avidyne IFD440/540/550 to an ADS-B receiver's WiFi network (i.e., Sentry) for use with ForeFlight Mobile, follow these steps:
1. Configure WiFi on IFD: Configure the IFD in Remote mode to allow it to join an existing WiFi network, like the one created by a Sentry ADS-B receiver. In Remote mode, the IFD acts as a "client" to connect to another access point (e.g., WiFi network).

2. Connect the IFD to the Device's WiFi network: Connect the IFD to the ADS-B receiver's WiFi network the IFD in the Connectivity > WiFi section of the IFD menu. Guidance on connecting an IFD to a Sentry or Stratus is found in the IFD Pilot's Guide.
3. Connecting to ForeFlight: Once connected, the IFD can exchange flight plans with ForeFlight Mobile on an iPad or iPhone, and ForeFlight will receive ADS-B weather and traffic directly from the ADS-B receiver's WiFi network.
NOTE: ADS-B weather and traffic data from Sentry is received only in ForeFlight and cannot be displayed on the IFD.
