The Logging switch on a device's status page is used to troubleshoot data flow issues between a connected device and ForeFlight Mobile, such as missing or inaccurate data or missing features. When enabled, ForeFlight captures device data for diagnostic purposes. This setting can be accessed by navigating to More > Devices and tapping the connected device tile.

Default Behavior and Recommendations
The Logging switch is off by default to conserve memory usage. Turn it on only for troubleshooting purposes if an issue occurs during flight involving data from the connected device.
IMPORTANT: Log files can grow at a rate of approximately 100 MB per hour. Turn the switch off after troubleshooting is complete.

- The email address linked to the ForeFlight account.
- A brief description of the issue encountered.
