How do I turn on FreeFlight data logging?

FreeFlight data logging can be used by our Pilot Support Team to review and troubleshoot data coming into ForeFlight from your FreeFlight system.  If you are having a problem with your device displaying certain data types, then turn FreeFlight logging on.  To do so, follow these steps:

1. Connect your FreeFlight system to your iPad.

2. Open ForeFlight Mobile and tap on MORE > DEVICES > FREEFLIGHT (or from the Maps page SETTINGS button > FREEFLIGHT) and slide the LOGGING switch to ON (slide to the right).

Image 1.  Turn FreeFlight logging on by going to MORE, tap on DEVICES and tap on your FreeFlight unit.  Slide the LOGGING switch to ON.

Once you have flown and have recorded data, you can send the FreeFlight logs to the Pilot Support Team using the steps in this article:

You can turn the logging off when you are done.
