ForeFlight Mobile handles data from multiple devices with ADS-B, GPS, or AHRS sources by following these preferences:
ADS-B
If two ADS-B receivers are connected simultaneously, they will interfere, potentially causing traffic and weather errors. To avoid these issues, only one ADS-B receiver should be connected to ForeFlight at a time.
GPS
ForeFlight defaults to a panel-mounted GPS as the primary source and uses a predetermined hierarchy to select the most accurate GPS source when multiple sources are connected. ForeFlight automatically switches to the next best option in the hierarchy if the primary GPS source becomes unavailable.
AHRS
ForeFlight defaults to a panel-mounted AHRS source when multiple sources are connected. If the primary AHRS source is lost, ForeFlight switches to the next best option based on a hierarchy, ensuring consistent data for attitude and heading information.
