How devices are removed varies between individual and multi-pilot accounts. Individual account users can remove devices from our website or from within ForeFlight Mobile. Multi-pilot account users can remove devices on our website.
Removing Devices on an Individual Account using ForeFlight on the Web
To manage the devices hooked to an account on our website, use the following steps:
STEP 1: Open ForeFlight on the web on a computer.
STEP 2: Sign in with your ForeFlight user ID (email) and password.
STEP 3: Select the User Name button on the left side.
STEP 4: Click on Account.
STEP 5: Click the Remove button next to the unwanted device. Sign into ForeFlight Mobile on the new device.
STEP 6: Select Remove from the popover to confirm the selected action.
Removing Devices on an Individual Account using the ForeFlight Mobile App
To manage devices hooked to an account from within ForeFlight Mobile, follow these steps:
STEP 1: Open ForeFlight Mobile.
STEP 2: Select the More tab. A slide-over will appear.
STEP 3: Select Account. The Account popover will show devices that can be removed. Removing a device frees up a slot for adding a new one.
STEP 4: Select Remove next to the device to disconnect from the account.
STEP 5: Select Remove Device to confirm the selected action.
Removing Devices on a Multi-Pilot Account using ForeFlight on the Web
To manage the devices hooked to an account on our website, use the following steps:
STEP 1: Sign in to ForeFlight on the Web on a computer.
STEP 2: Select the User button on the left side.
STEP 3: Select the Devices tab.
STEP 4: Click the Remove button next to the unwanted device.
STEP 5: Select Remove from the popover to confirm the selected action.
