If a VFR flight plan was activated in ForeFlight Mobile and remains open 20 minutes past the calculated ETA (Departure time + ETE), a push notification will be sent to all connected devices as a reminder to close the flight plan. Push notifications are visual alerts that appear on each connected device.
To close the flight plan, use the Close button on the Flights page in ForeFlight or call 1-800-WX-BRIEF.
If the flight plan remains open 30 minutes after the calculated ETA, the flight plan will enter an Overdue status, and a second push notification will be sent to prompt immediate closure of the flight plan.
