The Search and Rescue feature in ForeFlight Mobile allows users to display Search and Rescue grids on the Maps page using the Procedure Advisor. To learn how to use this feature, see the ForeFlight Search & Rescue Guide on our website or within ForeFlight Mobile under Documents > ForeFlight.

By default, the Search and Rescue features are disabled. To enable Search and Rescue features:
- Tap More.
- Tap Settings.
- Scroll down to the SEARCH AND RESCUE section.
- Turn SAR Features on by sliding the switch to the right.
To interact with the Search and Rescue feature:
- Go to the Maps page.
- Select the FPL button to open the Flight Plan Editor.
- Select Edit in the Flight Plan Editor.
- Select Procedure.
- Select Search and Rescue. From that view, a Search and Rescue pattern can be defined.
