VFR waypoints, checkpoints, or call-up points, such as in Canada, the USA, or Europe, are not currently available for routing in ForeFlight Mobile. You can, however, create user waypoints for the VFR waypoints/checkpoints for use in routes.

Create waypoints from the Maps view
To manually create VFR waypoints, checkpoints, or call up points on the Maps view, follow these steps:
STEP 1. Tap MAPS to open the Maps page.
STEP 2. Tap on the waypoint on the map for which you want to create a user waypoint.

STEP 3. Tap MORE to the right of the waypoint coordinates and then select SAVE.

STEP 4. Enter the name of the waypoint and any description you may want and tap SAVE.

The created user waypoint can now be used as part of a route and displayed over any map. To enter the waypoint in a route, use the name of the user waypoint.
To display the user waypoint on the map, from the Maps view, tap the map layer selector located in the upper left corner, and then from the dropdown menu, select USER WAYPOINTS (you may need to scroll down the list).

Create waypoints from the More view
To create user waypoints on the More view, follow these steps:
STEP 1. Tap MORE > CUSTOM CONTENT.

STEP 2. Tap on USER WAYPOINTS and then [+].
Image 7. Tap USER WAYPOINTS and then [+].
STEP 3. Enter the name for the user waypoint, an optional description, and the latitude/longitude. Tap on SAVE when done.

The created user waypoint can now be used as part of a route and displayed over any map. To enter the waypoint in a route, use the name of the user waypoint.
To display the user waypoint on the map, from the Maps view, tap the map layer selector located in the upper left corner, and then from the dropdown menu, select USER WAYPOINTS. If you don’t see user waypoints listed, scroll down the list. (See Image 5 above.)
