FDC NOTAMs can be viewed in several ways in ForeFlight Mobile, including in a ForeFlight Briefing, on the Airports view, on the Maps view, or on the Plates view. However, obtaining and reviewing a briefing is recommended to become familiar with all applicable NOTAMs for a proposed flight.

ForeFlight Briefing

In a Graphical (HTML) Briefing, follow these steps to locate FDC NOTAMs:

1. In the sidebar, tap NOTAMs
2. Select each submenu option and scroll through the NOTAM list on the right. FDC NOTAMs will be grouped under the subheading “FDC”.

FDC NOTAMs in a Graphical (HTML) Briefing

In a Graphical (PDF) Briefing, follow these steps to locate FDC NOTAMs:

1. Scroll down to the NOTAMs section at the end of the PDF.
2. Look in the Recent NOTAMs, Departure, and Destination lists. Any FDC NOTAMs will be located in appropriate groupings like “Instrument Approach Procedure” and “Obstacle Departure Procedure.”

Airports View

To find FDC NOTAMs in the Airports view, follow these steps:

1. With the airport displayed, tap NOTAM > Airport.
2. Scroll through the list of NOTAMs.  FDC NOTAMs can be identified by the label “FDC” in a gray font at the end of their descriptive text.
3. Repeat the above step by tapping NOTAM > TFR/ARTCC and scrolling through its list.

FDC NOTAMs on the Airports View

Maps View

To find FDC NOTAMs on the Maps view, follow these steps:

1. With the Aeronautical map layer enabled, tap an airport map element to open its details in the Maps Sidebar. 
2. In the Maps Sidebar, tap NOTAM > Airport.
3. Scroll through the list of NOTAMs. FDC NOTAMs can be identified by the label “FDC” in a gray font at the end of their descriptive text.
4. Repeat the above step by tapping NOTAM > TFR/ARTCC and scrolling through its list.

FDC NOTAMs on the Maps Sidebar

Plates View

To find FDC NOTAMs on the Plates view, follow these steps:

1. With an airport diagram or other plate displayed, tap the red NOTAM Alert banner at the top of the plate.
2. In the Alert NOTAMs list, scroll to the bottom and tap Show All NOTAMs.
3. In the expanded NOTAMs list, tap Airport.
4. Scroll through the list of NOTAMs. FDC NOTAMs can be identified by the label “FDC” in a gray font at the end of their descriptive text.
5. Repeat the above step by tapping TFR/ARTCC and scrolling through its list.
