ForeFlight Web uses "WebGL" to power the Map and to improve graphical performance. If you cannot access the map and instead see an error message that reads “BROWSER NOT SUPPORTED,” then use the steps in this article to troubleshoot the issue.

STEP 1: Are your video drivers up to date?
No: Stop here. Update your video drivers and then re-open ForeFlight Web and try again.
Yes: Continue to Step 2.
NOTE: Users of 2010-2011 Macs with an Intel HD3000 graphics card will not be able to use our site using the Chrome browser.
STEP 2: Is your web browser updated to the most recent version available?
Yes: Continue to Step 3.
STEP 3: Does your browser support WebGL1?
This can be tested here: http://webglreport.com

No: Stop here. Your browser and/or hardware configuration does not support WebGL.
Yes: Continue to Step 4.
STEP 4: Is your browser set up to use and allow WebGL?
Check the following settings in your browser:
Chrome: Go to MENU > SETTINGS > ADVANCED and slide the switch on next to USE HARDWARE ACCELERATION WHEN AVAILABLE and select RELAUNCH.

Safari: Go to SAFARI > PREFERENCES > SECURITY > and make sure the "Allow WebGL" selection is checked. Refresh the browser.

Firefox: Go to MENU > PREFERENCES > ADVANCED and select USE HARDWARE ACCELERATION WHEN AVAILABLE. Restart the browser.

If needed, also enter into the address bar about: config Search for webgl.disabled and makes sure its value is set to FALSE.

No: Stop here. Configure your browser to support WebGL and then re-open ForeFlight Web and try again.
Yes: Continue to Step 5.
STEP 5: Is Plan.ForeFlight.com on a WebGL blocked list? (Safari only)
Safari: Go to SAFARI > PREFERENCES > SECURITY > WebGL SETTINGS > and make sure that plan.foreflight.com is not a blocked item.

Yes: Stop here. Allow plan.foreflight.com and then re-open ForeFlight Web and try again.
No: Stop here and contact email@example.com with details about what your tests have shown.
If you are a Chrome user, go to chrome://gpu and select FILE > SAVE PAGE AS and save a file of that web page to email to us. If that does not work, copy the text on that page and paste it into your email to us.

If you are a Firefox user, go to about:support and select FILE > SAVE PAGE AS and save a file of that webpage to email to us. If that does not work, click the "Copy text to clipboard" in the upper left to copy the text on that page and then paste it into your email to us.
